An action packed Bank Holiday weekend and the leap forward of the clocks!
Parkrun
San Domenico RC runners were all over parkrun this weekend!
Andy, Hywel and Karen attended a very busy Cardiff with Ian B keeping busy as a timekeeper volunteer. Hannah and Arthur volunteered at Llanishen Park and Sue went to Tremorfa.
Ceri had some unusual company in the form of alpacas in the Planka at the picturesque Aberfields. James S was at Porthcawl while Lucy G was at Sandy Water.
Kev, Joey, Androo and Meg used Pontypridd as part of their marathon training long run.
Tom B went to Severn Bridge and bagged a PB- well done mate!
Lots of people took advantage of the long weekend with Jonny T going north to Carlisle Park and Natalie and Simon incorporated Wetherby into their long training run.
Down south, Mark F tried out Southampton, Aislin & Jack were at Weymouth again and Niall headed to the beautiful Eden Project.
In the East, we had Rob L at Hazelwood and Rob B at a challenging, hilly and muddy Henley-on-Thames.
Dan L and Harry T went further afield for the 119th edition of Donaupark.
2. After Super Saturday, came Super Sunday (albeit with a loss of 1 hour's sleep!)
Sunday morning saw three take part in the Cardiff Taff Trail Half marathon organised by Cardiff Running Events. For Alistair & Andy, it was used as part of their last long runs of their marathon training plans with Paul J using it as one of the last longer races before focusing on the shorter stuff over the summer.
Ron acted as race adjudicator and Karen & Emily were in support along the course.
Elsewhere on the weekend, Neil R completed his third marathon in three months in keeping with the plan for running one a month this year.
